Vic is a racehorse who would prefer to be someone's pet and companion. He's made quite a name for himself on the track, but he's ready to move on.

In between races, Vic has been the favorite of the barn. The grooms and exercise riders frequently borrow him for a companion while they nap in the grass or to take an easy hack on the backstretch. He's so quiet they ride him in a halter and lead rope through all 3 gaits on the backstretch. Vic is well built for any career, but we think he'll excel as an Eventer or Jumper.

Vic's calm nature makes him a suitable mount for someone looking for a more easy-going partner. But if someone picks up the reins and asks for some speed, he definitely has the ability to step up to the plate. His mouth is so soft he'll drop to a walk or halt with the slightest touch of the rein. In his first lesson with ground poles and cross rails, he caught on very quickly and without any resistance. This boy really wants to please his handler and is very curious about this new jumping career.
