r boys. Tuffy was recently purchased by Sarah Pallas of Atlanta, Georgia. The two are in love!! It warms our hearts to be able to participate in the creation of great partnerships such as this one.

Tuffy is one of those horses that no matter where he goes, he will turn heads. He has a kind eye and a confident poise about him. Tuffy, is the exact opposite of his name.

He is a sweetheart looking to be loved on. He arrived at the Brookwood Farm in early March at which time he was turned out to rest, get fat and come down off the energy of the track. Within a week of his arrival, Tuffy was a completely different horse. Tuffy appears to have never lived off the track except for those few months before he was sent to the track for training as a 2 year old.

Thoroughbred Rescue

Now that Tuffy has settled in to his pasture life, we will begin his training. From watching him in the pasture, his movement is very floaty and hunter like. His curiosity and willingness to please his handler will make him a great partner for anyone. His easy-going personality has made him easy to handle. He stands like a statue for the farrier and loves to snuggle and get kisses on his nose.
