Bo

Bo has been sold. We are sad to see him

go, but we have found a great home for him with his new mom, Carol in Athens, Georgia. Sounds like he's going to have a great life teaching Carol and her family how to ride. He's such a sweet and patient guy. It couldn't have been a better fit.

Bo is a sweet, big boned, bay gelding who will make someone a great partner. He is new to life off the track so we have been spending most of our time teaching him how to be a horse. He's taking to his new life quite nicely. He appears to be one of those horses with a positive outlook on life...he just always has an expression that looks like he's smiling. Bo is very easy going and really strives to please his handler.

We don't know a lot about his life on the track, but he's not head shy which is really hard to find in ex-racehorses. He has been off the track since May '06 and is holding his weight and muscle tone quite well. Bo is an easy keeper and has good feet.

Due to our limited experience with Bo at this time, we aren't sure where he will excel, but we know he will make a great trail horse or 4-H project for a younger rider. He would be quiet enough for a younger rider with some experience or a somewhat green rider. When he is in a herd he falls toward the middle of the pack.
